Technical communities create opportunities that no single company can build alone.

They help practitioners compare ideas, learn from real experience, test new approaches, contribute useful tools, and build relationships that continue long after an event or meetup ends.

SynEdgy supports the PowerShell and automation community through event organisation, sponsorship, open-source contribution, technical education, and knowledge sharing.

Organising PowerShell Conference Europe

SynEdgy organises PowerShell Conference Europe with the help of community volunteers.

The conference brings together PowerShell, automation, DevOps, and infrastructure practitioners to share technical knowledge and practical experience.

SynEdgy is responsible for the event’s ongoing planning, operations, community support, and financial sustainability. Community volunteers help make the conference stronger through their time, perspective, and energy.

Programme, tickets, speakers, sponsors, calls for papers, and event details are published on psconf.eu.

PSConfEU MiniCon

SynEdgy also organises PSConfEU MiniCon, a free online event featuring community speakers between annual conference editions.

MiniCon makes PowerShell learning and interaction accessible to people who cannot travel to the in-person event. Community contributors may occasionally help with organisation, while speakers share their experience freely with the wider community.

The next MiniCon takes place on 13 October 2026. It runs throughout the day, using time-zone differences to make live sessions accessible around the world. See the PSConfEU MiniCon page for the format, schedule, and registration.

Meet in PSWorld

SynEdgy hosts virtual user groups and MiniCon sessions in PSWorld, a custom community map built on Gather.

Gather is a spatial collaboration platform where participants can move around a shared environment, see who is available, join nearby conversations, and move between sessions. PSWorld uses Gather 1.0 (Classic), whose event spaces are better suited to this format than a conventional virtual office.

For online community events, this creates the next best thing to meeting at an in-person conference: participants can explore, encounter other people, and continue informal conversations beyond the scheduled session.

SynEdgy invests in technical communities beyond the events it organises.

Open source and shared engineering

SynEdgy contributors share practical engineering through public projects, documentation, talks, community calls, and workshops.

Watch, learn, and share

Many PowerShell conference and community sessions are available freely through official event channels.

The PowerShell Conference EU YouTube channel contains technical sessions across PowerShell, DSC, Git, automation platforms, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering.

Not every community session is recorded. Where recordings exist, we prefer to link the official source rather than duplicate the content.
